Why do I need x-rays?
“To see is to know: not to see is to guess”
Without seeing the whole picture, we can only guess at what lies beneath and between your teeth. Dental x-rays help us know about the underlying bone structure, the roots of the teeth, unerupted teeth, as well as the contact areas where the teeth touch. Sometimes, a film can uncover a condition at an early stage before you experience any signs or symptoms that something is wrong.
